“IMAGINED FREEDOM; WHISPERS OF NOSTALGIA”, invites viewers to embark on a journey through the intricate interplay of two powerful forces - nostalgia and freedom. This curated collection of artworks serves as a poignant exploration of how these seemingly contradictory emotions converge, revealing a profound dialogue between the past and the present.

Through various mediums, artists evoke a sense of longing for times past, while advocating for the emancipatory potential inherent in these reflections. The exhibition offers the possibility to look at the meaning of freedom and nostalgia in both large and small scale - from the wide approach of freedom in nature, to the personal and individual look inside the freedom felt in our independent physical bodies, and what we long for in our pasts.

Opening night will take place December 2nd 2023 at Yoko Gallery.

The exhibition will then move until the end of the year to the exhibition hall at Alàbriga Hotel and will be on view from December 7th to December 31st, every Friday through Saturday.
